Emergency Respite
If someone has special needs, an overnight respite program can provide some much needed relief and give you time to de-stress and focus on your own needs. It's also a good idea to get your child used to staying overnight in a place other than home, in case an emergency should ever arise.
Children After School/Summer Program (DTT/DTS)
The DTT/DTS programs are located in Chandler and Sierra Vista. They provide specialized services for children with various needs that a regular after school/summer program cannot provide. Certified providers work at the center with a variety of children by keeping them active with activities and playing games, assist with homework if desired, improve socialization and behavioral skills, and improve communication. Transportation is available if needed.
Day Programs for Adults (DTA)
The DTA programs are located in Chandler and Tohono Nation. DTAs provide a coordinated program of professional and compassionate services for adults in a community-based group setting. Services are designed to provide social and some health services to adults who need supervised care in a safe place outside the home during the day. They also afford caregivers respite from the demanding responsibilities of caregiving. Adult day centers generally operate during normal business hours five days a week. Transportation is available if needed.
Transportation Services
Embrace Life, Inc. provides safe vehicles for certified providers to transport members for routine and nonroutine needs.
Residential Programs
This highly individualized program helps a person with a developmental disability live in his or her own home with roommates. Staff members are available for 24/7 care while providing training in daily living skills, money management, meal preparation, and community and safety skills. The goal of this program is to offer the member support so that he or she can have a quality lifestyle in a typical neighborhood setting, taking advantage of what the community has to offer.
Day Respite Center
We are currently accepting hourly respite in Chandler. The Respite Center is where members get together to do basic activities such as color, watch movies, play games, and socialize with supervision from a certified provider. This service provides relief for the caregiver. The center also provide snacks and drinks.
