Residential Coordinator

Job Description

The Embrace Life team is actively looking for the right applicant to fill our Residential Coordinator.. The candidate shall be able to use analytic skills and understanding of the organization and the business in order to handle arising problems and issues. Positively demonstrates leadership skills to be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of resident care, and general maintenance. Be able to direct and carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Embrace Life policies and applicable licensing laws with Arizon Department Health and Safety. This position will report to the Residential Director.

The Residential Coordinator will work with our director, a day program supervisor, a quality of care staff/ supervisor, trainer/ behavior plan author, and an adminstrative assistant.

Minimum Qualifications

We are accepting candidates who meet our minimum qualifcations as listed below.  If the qualifications are not met, we will inform of the rejection.

  • Bachelors Degree in Social Studies or similar. A degree in the healthcare field is preferred if there is no supervisory/ direct care experience. (Pay more)
  • Arizona Valid Driver's License. Clean driving record with no suspension or felonies.
  • Valid Arizona fingerprint card
  • Participated in operations of I/DD programs in the past;
    • Residential supervisor 1+ years

Required Knowledge and Skills

The candidate must have knowledge of the I/DD industry. Extensive understanding of technical areas gained through experience and used to complete and/or oversee assignments. Familiarity with Google software preferred. Effective written, and communication. The candidate must have a strong ability to prioritize and effectively manage multiple tasks. The candidate also must have an ability to follow up on assignments to ensure timely completion. Demonstrates good judgment and strong problem solving and decision making skills  to lead people and get results through others. It is expected to interact and work positively and effectively with staff and management at all levels, organize and manage multiple priorities and meet internal deadlines. The candidate has to have an ability to multi-task with frequent interruptions, changes and delays while remaining focused. Needs to be able to adapt and adjust to change within the chain of command.

Salary Range: $45,500.00 - $48,500.00 / year.
