Program Services

Embrace Life provides activities designed to enhance the child or adult's ability to function as part of a family unit, increasing the family’s ability to care for the child in the home and in community-based settings.

The Embrace Life assigned director will develop a teaching strategy plan designed to meet the needs of each member and their families and explore opportunities to improve their daily independent living skills.

At Embrace Life, we are committed to maintaining good relationships with parents, guardians, and Support Coordinators. Our members learn to develop skills to introduce them to the benefits of leading a healthy and positive lifestyle. They will have the opportunity to learn and recognize the values and principles associated with independence, and receive guidance in self-esteem, respect issues, and structured life skills.

Our management staff works hard to establish meaningful relationships with families and to be role models for the members. We are also committed to obtain constant improvement within the agency. Adult / Child Developmental Homes

Embrace Life Inc. has contracted with the state of Arizona to help license Adult/Children Developmental Homes. A person may convert his/her personal home to become a licensed home to take in and care for a member in a family setting. Embrace Life contributes at a daily rate; however, this service is on hold for the time being.

Day Programs for Adults (DTA)

Day Programs Services are designed to provide social and some health services to adults who need supervised care in a safe place outside the home during the day. Day Program centers generally operate during normal business and after business/ school hours five days a week. Transportation is available.

Home & Community Based Services

Embrace Life Services provides planned and unplanned, routine and non-routine intervals of rest and/or relief to family members or other unpaid persons who reside with and provide ongoing care to individuals.

Emergency Respite

If someone has special needs, an overnight respite program can provide some much needed relief and give you time to de-stress and focus on your own needs. It's also a good idea to get your child used to staying overnight in a place other than home, in case an emergency should ever arise.

Residential Programs

This highly individualized program helps a person with a developmental disability live in his or her own home with roommates. Staff members are available for 24/7 care while providing training in daily living skills, money management, meal preparation, and community and safety skills. The goal of this program is to offer the member support so that he or she can have a quality lifestyle in a typical neighborhood setting, taking advantage of what the community has to offer.

Children After School / Summer Program (DTT/DTS)

Day Respite Center

Embrace Life is currently accepting hourly respite in Chandler for urgent weekend coverages. If you do not have a provider available or have a planned or unplanned event when supervision is needed, respite support can be scheduled on the weekends.
